Transfer of Personal Data to Third Countries
In the context of using certain services on our website, personal data may be transferred to so-called third countries outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA), in particular to the United States. This applies, for example, to services such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, whose provider (Google LLC) is based in the U.S.
The United States is currently not considered to provide an adequate level of data protection comparable to that within the EU. To ensure appropriate safeguards for such data transfers, we have concluded Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) with the respective service providers in accordance with Art. 46 para. 2 lit. c GDPR.
Use of Google Services
We use services provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland:
Google Analytics: Web analytics service using cookies to analyze website usage. Information such as browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL, IP address (shortened via anonymizeIp()), server request time, and user behavior is transmitted to Google servers. IP addresses are shortened before transmission within the EU/EEA. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Purpose: usage analysis, reach measurement, and performance statistics.
It cannot be ruled out that data may also be processed by Google LLC on servers located in the United States. To ensure an adequate level of protection, we have concluded Standard Contractual Clauses with Google, as approved by the European Commission.
Google Tag Manager: Tag management system that triggers other tags. It does not itself process personal data but may enable tools that do. Consent is required (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Although Google Tag Manager itself does not store personal data, it may access technical information which is transmitted to Google servers in the United States. This transfer is also covered by Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR.
You can delete cookies anytime in your browser settings. You will be asked again for consent upon return. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with this browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Any processing of personal data by the respective providers only takes place after you actively click on the link and visit our social media presence. Please note that the privacy policies of the respective platforms apply when using their services.
